Never miss a call.See how you really sound.

Congee records your Zoom, Teams and Meet calls by itself, transcribes them on your Mac, and shows you, and only you, how you come across. Free. No bot, no cloud, no account.

A Zoom call starts and Congee records it. A note is pinned with Command Shift 7. After the call a transcript arrives with the speakers named, then private stats show you talked 38 percent of the time.

It never misses a call.

Congee starts recording the moment Zoom, Teams, Meet, Webex or Slack takes your microphone. Join late, join muted, go back to back. It's caught.

The heavy work waits until you hang up, so your Mac stays quick and the next call always comes first. A late transcript beats a missing meeting.

A morning of four calls fills Congee's Today list, including a late muted join and two back-to-back calls, with none missed.

A mirror only you can see.

After every call: who talked when, your share of it, your longest stretch, the questions you asked. Across your last 30 meetings: your talking speed and the crutch words you've chosen to watch.

No team view, no manager mode. We don't count “um” either. Whisper leaves it out of transcripts, so any number would be made up.

Congee's Insights view shows a speaker timeline and talk share for one call, then Trends shows talking speed across 30 meetings and crutch words going down.

It stays on your Mac. And it speaks your English.

Recording, transcription and speaker names all run on your Mac. Nothing leaves it unless you send it. We never built a server.

The speech model was chosen for accented English, and every speech-model change is tested on Asian-accented calls before it ships. Lah, lor and leh are grammar, so they never count as crutch words.

Wi-Fi is switched off while Congee keeps transcribing a call to completion; a Singlish line is transcribed and the word lah is not counted as a crutch word.

Bring your own AI.

Congee doesn't write summaries. The assistant you already use writes better ones, with your prompt. Copy any transcript in one click, with names and emails masked on your Mac first if you like. Or connect Claude, or any assistant that supports MCP, and ask about any call you've had.

Your calls stay on your Mac until you ask your assistant something. Then only the parts it needs go to that assistant.

An AI assistant connected to Congee answers what a customer said about SSO, citing the call and timestamp, then reports crutch-word trends.

Questions people ask

Is it okay to record my calls?

Recording laws differ by country and state, and Congee doesn't send a bot, so telling people is up to you. A line that works: Mind if I record this so I can focus? It stays on my laptop.

Why is it free?

There's no server and no account, so there's nothing to charge for. If it saves your week, you can buy the maker a bowl of congee.

Which Macs does it run on?

Apple Silicon Macs on macOS 14.4 or later. 8 GB of memory is plenty. Setup asks for microphone and system audio access, plus a one-time download of about 600 MB for the speech model.

How does it know who's speaking?

Your microphone and the call are recorded on separate tracks, so “You” is never mixed up with anyone else. Name someone once and, with your permission, Congee recognizes their voice next time. Voices are stored encrypted on your Mac. When it isn't sure, it says “Speaker 2” instead of guessing.

How good is it with accents?

Good, and not perfect. It runs OpenAI's Whisper large-v3, chosen for accented English and tested on Asian-accented calls. Expect the odd misheard product name. Your AI reads around those.

Your next call is covered.

Congee was built by a presales professional who wanted two things: a recorder that never missed a call, and an honest mirror. It grew from there.
